These are the questions clients ask most often when planning a project with us. If you cannot find what you are looking for, contact us and we will answer it directly.
What areas do you work in?
We are based in Norwest and work across Sydney, with a focus on the Hills District, Parramatta and Western Sydney. Tell us your site location and we will confirm.
Are you licensed?
Yes. Swift Construction Pty Ltd holds NSW Builder Licence 376518C. Our ABN is 99 638 717 254.
What do you need from me to quote?
Ideally your architectural and structural drawings, the engineer's details, a site survey with levels and a geotechnical report if you have one. If you are early in the project, send what you have and we will tell you what else is needed.
Do you work as a subcontractor to builders?
Yes. We work directly for owners and developers, and as a subcontractor to builders and head contractors.
Can you do excavation, drainage and concrete on the same job?
Yes. That is our core package. Having one contractor for all three reduces gaps between trades and keeps levels and drainage coordinated.
How soon can you start?
It depends on our current program and your approvals. Let us know your target start date when you enquire and we will give you a realistic answer.
Do you provide fixed quotes?
We provide detailed, itemised quotes based on the drawings and site conditions. Items that cannot be confirmed until work starts, such as rock or unknown services, are listed clearly so there are no surprises.
Who will I deal with?
You deal directly with the director, Chirag Patel, from quote through to handover.
Do you work on residential projects?
Yes. We deliver site cuts, slabs, drainage, driveways and outdoor concrete for new homes, duplexes and knock-down rebuilds, working for home owners, builders and developers.
What happens if you find rock on site?
Rock is common in parts of Sydney. Where the geotechnical report indicates rock, we allow for it in the quote. Where it is found unexpectedly, we stop, show you what we have found and agree the approach and cost before continuing.
Can you work inside existing or operating buildings?
Yes. We regularly carry out excavation, pits and slab works inside warehouses and other buildings. We plan access, exclusion zones and dust and noise control around the building's operation.
Do you arrange inspections?
Yes. We coordinate with your engineer and certifier to book the required inspections, such as pre-pour reinforcement inspections, so the program is not held up.
Can I visit your office?
Our office is at Level 5, 4 Columbia Court, Norwest. Most meetings take place on site, so please call or email first to arrange a time.
